What do we do ?

We master the entire washing powder manufacturing process :

• High-density powders with a maximum density of 1.05
• Spray dried or light powders with a minimum density of 0.3

The heavy powder manufacturing process

A dry-mixing of powdered raw materials with liquid reagents and fragrance spraying.

We are equipped with installations allowing us to garnulate fine powders in order to facilitate their transformation.
This method can also be used with the aim of recycling "fine" powders.

The spray drying process

The biggest advantage of the spray drying process over other dry-mixing processes is that we obtain :

• A homogenous powder because each granule of spray dried powder contains all the ingredients in the formula.
• A lower density powder because the spray dried granules are hollow and porous, which gives it great dilution ability in the water used in washing.

The manufacturing process

• Spray drying process :

  A paste (slurry) is produced by mixing all the ingredients which will make up the "spray dried base". This paste is 30 to 40% water. This mixture is heated under agitation to 80°C before being sprayed under high pressure (up to 80 bars) at the top of a tower into which a large volume of air (at 300°C) is sent.
  These sprayed particules come into contact with the hot air and form little hollow spheres which dry as they stay in the tower. The powder recuperated at the bottom of the tower (called the spray dried base) is immediately given granulometry,density and residual humidity checks.
  At this stage and according to the formulation, the powder is ready except for the addition of fragrance. In other cases this "spray dried base" will be added to with other components.

• Post-addition :

  This operation consists of adding ingredients (which were not incorporated during spray drying) to the spray dried base. In this way we can add 16 components (solid and liquid) at this stage of the process.

• Packaging :

  Before this last stage the powder matures for 24 hours and waits to be validated by the laboratory. All types of packaging are possible : from sachets to big bags, bulk in tanks, and all types of boxes.

We also have a tablet unit for laundry products and all other products. We have a lot of experience in this area.

Production

Over the years we have developed several hundred detergent formulas, which we prepare for our clients with all kinds of packaging, with the capacity for a large annual production.
